Initial Visit Requires Medical Consultations at Two Separate Medical Offices, Unless You Were Initially Certified Prior To Age 18, Then You Only Need One.

Age greater than 25:

Requires One Medical Consultation with a provider (MD, DO, NP, PA, or Optometrist)

We can not stress to you enough the conversation that has to be had between you and any provider that prescribes your medications, BEFORE you get a medical cannabis card.

Kency Medical Services PLLC will NOT prescribe/refill any controlled substance that your current provider currently prescribes, yet stops prescribing after you obtain a medical cannabis card.

Kency Medical Services PLLC is here to help any patient that does not have a current primary care provider or a primary care physician that has not or will not become a Practitioner Certifier for the Mississippi MCANN Program. We will review your medical record before/during an in-person Consultation! We look forward to helping the patients of Mississippi.

MCANN is not federally legal, as such, any consultation related to the certification for MCANN is not covered by any insurance or medicaid/medicare. Visits must be paid in-full prior to scheduling an appointment to see a practitioner.

Meet Your Practitioner! You will upload all your medical records into your patient portal Prior to your selected appointment time, streamlining your visit with your practitioner. Our Practitioner will certify your file within 24 hours of your in-person clinic visit.

Answer: Most common cause is that you did not press the button to import your certification into your application.

Qualifying Conditions per Statute

The following medical conditions or their treatment qualify for participation in the Mississippi MCANN Program:

Cancer
Parkinson's disease
Huntington's disease
Muscular dystrophy
Glaucoma
Spastic quadriplegia
Positive status for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS)
Hepatitis
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Crohn's disease
Ulcerative colitis
Sickle-cell anemia
Alzheimer's disease
Agitation of dementia
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Autism
Pain refractory to appropriate opioid management
Diabetic/peripheral neuropathy
Spinal cord disease or severe injury

Also qualifying is a chronic terminal or debilitating disease or medical condition or its treatment that produces one or more of the following:

Cachexia or wasting syndrome
Chronic pain
Severe or intractable nausea
Seizures
Severe and persistent muscle spasms including, but not limited to, those characteristic of multiple sclerosis

Tele-Medicine Visits are not allowed for the state of Mississippi. Any provider or company that tries to offer you a card without an in-person visit is violating the program rules. If you use one of these providers, you can potentially forfeit your MCANN card indefinitely.
